Welcome to Curry Counseling! We are a small private practice, founded by Laura Curry in 2010, with the goal of providing counseling services to individuals of all ages in Skokie and the nearby communities. We have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families with a variety of emotional and behavioral issues. We provide parent coaching/support to parents struggling with a variety of parenting challenges. We see women experiencing challenges related to infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy, depression and anxiety. We also see many young adults, adults and older adults tackling life transitions, relationship challenges, and unexpected changes.
We share our positive energy with our clients to instill hope and encouragement that progress is possible. We all have a nurturing styles that helps individuals feel safe and comfortable, as we believe that trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship are most important. Our passion lies in helping clients emotionally heal and grow. While addressing presenting problems, we strongly believe it is also important to build on individual’s existing strengths and help them develop new skills to improve relationships and overall functioning. We see each individual as unique and work together as a team to work towards your personal goals. We help clients gain greater insight and self reflection to achieve greater satisfaction in life and relationships.
We know that it can feel difficult to ask for help for your child, yourself or a family member. We consider it a privilege to be allowed into your life to help. Curry Counseling is dedicated to providing thoughtful, compassionate, non-judgmental and individualized therapy to help clients bring about personal growth and change.
