About Nora:

Nora Chapman is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). She completed her Social Work Masters degree at the University of Illinois Chicago in 2001. Nora has worked as a school social worker in a traditional and therapeutic setting. She has also worked in the hospital setting with adults and children. Nora has worked in the field for over twenty years and has a diverse tool box she is hoping to share with her clients.


Nora’s approach to therapy is to meet a person/families where they are and provide guidance, education, reflection, and fresh perspectives that can facilitate growth and/or changes to meet their goals.

About Jennifer:

J​ennifer is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). Jennifer has always been interested in supporting others. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, earning a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work in 2013. Jennifer has worked in a variety of settings for the past ten years. Jennifer has experience working with children, teens, young adults, families, and adults involved in the foster care system in Chicagoland at Jewish Children and Family Services, Kaleidoscope, Thresholds, and at The Center for Youth and Family Solutions in central Illinois.  


Jennifer strives to create a warm environment where her clients feel comfortable, deeply understood, and well supported on their paths to growth and change.

About Aviva:

Aviva is a licensed clinical psychologist. She completed a joint degree in Psychology and Judaic Studies at Brown University (2002) and received her PsyD from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco with a focus on helping children and families in 2012. Aviva has worked as a therapist supporting children, teens, and parents in both clinic settings and private practice. She has extensive experience supporting children, teens, and staff members at overnight camps, where she has worked for over a decade as Director of Camper Care and Staff Wellness at Camp Ramah in CA. Aviva has a passion for supporting parents of young children and has worked as a mental health consultant for the Childcare Network of Evanston.


Aviva works from a strengths based perspective integrating narrative work, family systems, mindfulness, as well as cognitive behavioral interventions.

Laura established Curry Counseling in 2010 to provide therapy services to Skokie and the surrounding communities.  She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). Laura has always cared about the health and wellness of others. She completed her undergraduate degree in Legal Studies and Sociology from University of Wisconsin, in Madison.  Laura then moved to New York City to earn her master's degree from Columbia University School of Social Work in 2004. Laura is pursuing a Ph.D. program to earn her doctorate in social work at the Institute for Clinical Social Work. ​Laura has worked as a therapist in the field in a variety of settings for nearly twenty years.  


Laura believes the healing powers of a therapeutic relationship can empower clients to make meaningful growth and change.  Laura cares deeply about helping clients feel heard, understood, and valued.
